*Note:

This cold pressed oil is made fresh from the seeds of the wild rose (Rosa canina) that grows in Chile. Our Rosehip Seed Oil is now 100% virgin organic cold pressed oil.

Rosehip Seed Oil is great for adding moisture and lipids the skin needs. Plus, in clinical studies with humans, rosehip seed oil was effective in aiding tissue regeneration in surgical wounds and in the treatment of keloids.

This oil does not smell of roses (it is not an essential oil but a "fixed" oil).

This cold pressed oil is made fresh for us from the seeds of the rose (Rosa canina) that grows in Chile.

What is so special about this oil? Rosehip Seed Oil is a concentrated solution of linoleic (41%) and linolenic acid (39 %), two essential fatty acids that are found in the structural lipids of the cell, but that humans cannot synthesize. It also contains tocopherols and carotenoids (responsible for the lovely pink/orange color of the oil).

Add a few drops of Rosehip Seed Oil at a time to your favorite cream or lotion, or add a few drops to your bath water. You can also apply a thin layer of oil to affected area(s) as needed for scarring, or to provide moisture and essential fatty acids

Rosehip Seed (Rosa canina) Oil.

I love this oil! I use it from head to toe. It's moisturizing and it quickly absorbs, leaving my skin smooth and silky. Sometimes, I even put a little on my hair. Rose hip oil is also so nourishing and I have been delighted with the results I've been getting. It's the first oil I have ever used that didn't close my pores. On my body, I first use Ascorbic acid crystals then I follow up with rose hip oil and I've been quite impressed that old scars and even stretch marks are diminishing in appearance. I wish I would have known about this decades ago!

The scent smells like a savory spice. Not sure how to describe it, but it grew on me. Absorbs so well. I use it all over. Even in the summer, I was left with no greasy feeling, just very soft skin. I followed Kimberly's advice and use it after vit c crystals. Works great on my extremities.

I just love this stuff. It glides on after a shower, and I've used it in melt and pour soap with fantastic results. I can still feel it on my skin hours later and it feels so soft! And I've totally identified what the smell reminds me of! Genmaicha (roasted rice green tea)... which I adore!!!

This stuff is AMAZING!! It has really made my skin smooth and clear. It also does wonders for little irritations and injuries. I use it on my hands and feet before bed and wake up with amazing results. This is excellent for dermatitis and extra dry skin. And the price is just unbelievable. Usually, RSO cost about $14/oz. You get 4 times that much for the same price from here.

I love Skin Actives products and use just a couple of drops with my selected creams to help add that extra moisture to my 57 year skin. This Rosehip seed is so emollient, adding a dewy moistness to my drenched skin. Makeup goes on smoothly, also I have no allergic reaction and I am very happy with this beauty product.

I love, love, love this product, I add it to my facial and body creams. My skin is glowing afterwards but with no oily residue. I apply it neat to patches of rosacea/dermatitiswhich flare up at either side of my nose and chin and within a day or two it has completely cleared up.
