This complex of Ferulic Acid Esters is extracted from rice bran oil. The name "oryzanol" comes from Oryza sativa (rice). The chemical structure of this complex gives it biological properties similar to those of ferulic acid but it is easier to dissolve. Add gamma Oryzanol to your favorite cream to easily make a fantastic antioxidant, photoprotective (protects the skin against UVB-induced erythema), and cancer preventive cream.
Each tube is enough for 4 fl oz of cream or ELS Base Serum at approximately 1.5% concentration (1.5 g in 120 mL cream). Use in your favorite cream or add to our Canvas Base Cream or our ELS Base Serum.
