Ellagic acid helps our skin prevent the mutagenic action of some environmental pollutants. It also helps prevent the formation of sun spots by UV. Also present in pomegranates and raspberries, Ellagic Acid has many great properties, including antiviral and antibacterial.

This is Terminalia Chebula extract enriched in ellagic acid. Terminalia chebula is, like Amla (Phyllantus emblica) a component of Trifala, an anti-age ingredient in Ayurvedic medicine.

Each tube is enough for about 40 fl oz of cream or lotion at approximately 0.5% concentration (5 g in 1200 mL cream). Use in your favorite cream or add to our Canvas Base Cream or a Sea Kelp Bioferment base. The powder will not dissolve immediately, but will release components slowly into the cream/lotion.
