Creatine is a molecule involved in energy use and transfer. We can make it, but quantity decreases with age, and introduction of topical creatine will be welcome. Pyruvate is the other part of this active, and will contribute a little bit of extra energy and building blocks.
Be ready to read a lot of hype about a new combination for skin hyperpigmentation: creatine with carnitine. It looks like it will be promoted as a replacement for hydroquinone, but don't get caught up in the hype. Our other actives for hyperpigmentation (find them all pre-mixed in our Skin Brightening Cream) are world-class, working synergistically to lighten and brighten the skin. Despite the hype, creatine pyruvate is a good active and you lose nothing by trying it.
Each tube is enough for about 4 fl oz of cream or lotion at approximately 2% concentration (2 g in 120 mL cream). Use in your favorite cream or add to our Canvas Base Cream or a Sea Kelp Bioferment base. Add slowly to the cream, mixing thoroughly.
