One of those extracts that have been used since prehistoric times in folk medicine, Indian Pennywort (Centella Asiatica) is rich in asiaticosides and madecassosides and can help with skin and scar healing venous insufficiency. It stimulates maturation of the scar by increasing synthesis of type I collagen, and also decreases inflammation and myofibroblast production.

Each tube is enough for about 16 fl oz of cream or lotion at approximately 1% concentration (5 g in 480 mL cream), so we recommend 1.25 grams in 4 oz of cream. The powder will not dissolve immediately but will release components slowly into the cream or lotion, and can be combined with our other actives. Use in your favorite cream or add to our Canvas Base Cream, European Cream, or our Sea Kelp Ultramarine.
