Note: Canvas Base Cream is great for most skin types, but can be mixed with our Sea Kelp Ultramarine if you have very oily skin or active acne lesions.   My Holy Grail cream! In all it's basic glory. This cream has been with me for over 6 years in many different formulations, and in a pinch has been used plain.I have eczema-prone skin and I now have mature skin as well (early 40s) and it had not been easy to find anything that created a non-oily lipid barrier to the elements especially as I live in the Northeast U.S. and the weather is polluted and can be humid or blustery cold. Now I make a batch adapted semi-yearly for cold and hot. I like knowing what is in my cream, and this product is going to be with me forever. I've told many of my friends about this to pass the good news along, and hear reports that they love this cream too. Of course, they all have different kinds of skin and this cream still works for them!

  I really like all of the Canvas creams available from SAS. I especially like that they don't have any of the sea kelp bioferment in them because I think my skin does not react well to that in many of SAS other products. The price for this cream is great too and it can be used "as is" if you don't feel like buying all the extras (of course, you also don't get all the benefits of the 'extras' but it still moisturizes well!!) Great product!!

  This cream is amazing. Fantastic at any price really. It's non-irritating, blends easily with other ingredients such as Vit E, or Vit A, and has a nice, soothing quality I really love. Two thumbs from me about this item.
