As a long time user of the Alpha Beta Exfoliant, I was very excited to try the new single-use packet. It was fabulous! First of all I was really happy with the quantity of Alpha Beta Exfoliant Solution in the applicator. Previously, I would sometimes feel that I used too much and could make my skin feel like it was covered with oil. With the new single use application, I was able to cover my whole face and only felt a light sheen, not at all heavy. The applicator itself is a great soft cottony strip that is thick and spongy. It really held up when applying the solution to my skin and didn't disintegrate at all. I left it on for the fifteen minutes allotted before using a towel wet with warm water to rinse. When my face was clean, it felt like I had just had a facial. My skin was soft and glowing and felt amazing.

When I applied the Alpha Beta Solution to my face, I was careful around my eyes because I wasn't at home and wouldn't be able to completely re-apply my eye makeup. By rinsing gently (but thoroughly) with the warm damp towel, I was able to come away from the process without even having to do a make-up touch-up! Even better, I was able to wear the solution around the office for the 15 minutes and no one was the wiser. My skin was a little shiny, but nothing out of the ordinary. This would be perfect for a mini-facial before leaving the office on the way to a dinner or an event. My skin looked great, and it didn't have any of the puffiness or the redness that comes with getting a facial in a salon - making it excellent for a spur of the moment lunch date or vacation.

I highly recommend the new Alpha Beta Exfoliant packets, and I am really excited to be able to get them on a one by one basis. At $5.50 per packet, they are really affordable and great for gifts. Because they are so portable, I can keep one in my purse as well as stock them in my carry-on travel bag. Plus where else can you get a "facial" once a week for less than six dollars? All in all I am really excited for this new product and can't wait to share it with my friends.

Each pouch includes a one use towel that can be applied to the face and neck area or anywhere on the body needing exfoliation, including feet, but keeping away from eyes. If your skin is very sensitive, try leaving it only for 3 to 5 minutes, at least until you feel confident that your skin can take it, then you can increase the time to a max of 5 to 7 minutes. Additionally, for especially needy areas, such as callused heels, you may leave the Alpha Beta Exfoliator on for up to 15 or 20 minutes, but please remember to be gentle with your skin and to rinse if you feel discomfort.

We recommend using once per week, for 4 weeks, in conjunction with our Collagen Serum.

Helpful hint: use a timer to remind you of when it is time to remove the exfoliator and rinse.

  My first order from SkinActives, received it this afternoon and just used it on my face and hands. And I had to log on to leave this review. This product REALLY WORKS. It works so well that you might want to be careful as for how long you leave it on (it stung quite a bit when I washed my face after 20 min, but no redness or irritation after a while). Honestly, despite the previous reviews, I didn't expect much from this product, because I am a skeptic lol and my skin as is, is okay so I thought I wouldn't see anything dramatic. But after using this for the first time, my skin looks much 'Healthier' and 'Smoother'. My roommate asked me if I just came from spa =) indeed, it's powerful product (and seeing the ingredients, quite potent too). I highly recommend.

  I am a person with 'zits' in my wrinkles. I believe continual use, weekly is the key to getting the best results. I have combined this with the Anti-Age Creme, Let's Make Collagen, and the Vitamin A (Twilight Awakening) Creme. As a result, no new zits and the old (long-term) zits are also gone. YES! My skin is truly chemically sensitive and this product makes my skin soft and moist, /not stripped dry at all. It tingles litely; I keep it on for 10 or 15 minutes with zero discomfort. I am happy to be able to use this Alpha-Beta product for overall skin support, without harsh side effects. SAS always has a solution- just add a little patience!

  I got the exfoliation kit and these were included. Make no mistake, this is a peel, so it is stronger than a mask. It is pretty gentle compared to others, but my dry cheeks (with mild rosacea) did not like this stuff. This stuff worked GREAT on my hands, though. Next time I will try my feet. For my face, I think the pumpkin enzyme product is the way to go.

  I used the Zit Ender overnite on three whiteheads invarious stages, and when. i woke up I applied the Alpha Beta Exfoliator for 10 minutes. When I rinsed that off, all three zits were gone, as well as the flaky patches and tiny whiteheads on my right nostril. My skin looked and felt so much cleaner & fresher. It was like a professional salon or dermatologist peel, only without the $100 price tag or The aggravations of traffic, parking, & waiting in the spa/Dr.'s office.
